City of Beggs Attends 2025 FACT Meeting

Four representatives attended this year’s FACT (Federal Assistance Coordination Team) Meeting on behalf of the City of Beggs: Mayor Roger Merrill, City Administrator Steve Barteau, Public Works Director Taylor Hackney, and City Engineer Bill Smith. The team presented a comprehensive list of infrastructure needs, including improvements to water systems, street repairs, and emergency sirens.

Their presentation was well received, and the city is now awaiting updates on potential funding opportunities. If awarded, these funds could significantly support ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and essential services in Beggs. Read full story below.
